Word Fest CIC is a Community Interest Company based in Lancashire. Frank's Board is our flagship active programme.
Why Word Fest exists
Word Fest exists to give simple, useful ideas a responsible community-benefit structure. The organisation can build relationships, support access, coordinate delivery and learn openly without overstating what has been achieved.
Frank's Board came first. As more people began using it, Word Fest became the long-term programme home that could help preserve free family access and support responsible development.
What a CIC is
A Community Interest Company, or CIC, is a company set up to operate for community benefit rather than primarily for private profit.
Word Fest CIC is not a registered charity.
