We want Word Fest information and programmes to be understandable and usable by as many people as possible.
Website approach
The rebuilt site uses semantic headings, clear labels, keyboard-accessible links and forms, visible focus states, readable contrast and responsive layouts.
Frank's Board
Simplicity and accessible information are formal design considerations. The recipient-facing display is deliberately separated from the more complex management interface.
Formats and support
If a resource or page creates a barrier, contact hello@word-fest.com and tell us what you were trying to access. We will consider a reasonable alternative where possible.
Continuous improvement
Accessibility is not treated as a one-off claim. It should be tested, reviewed and improved as programmes and evidence develop.
